Buster (Rex)

Buster is my hand reared Rex . He is a lovely boy and very tame like, he knows he was the only pig in the litter who I managed to save with the help of my friend. I also lost his mum  (Willow) after a 7am , 10 mile dash to an emergency vets (still in my nightie!) as she had a womb prolapse after giving birth. He won best Pet in show on his 1st outing on the show table at just 3 and a half months. The judge was taken with all the chin tickling . :)

I know I'm a very gorgeous mummys boy!!!!

Black-Jack (Teddy)                                      Ted (Rex)

Black-Jack and Ted are hutch mates. Black-jack is the dad of Tia, and Ted is the son of Buster. BJ is a bit like a small handbag sized dog who likes being patted on the head :). Ted has visited the show table only on 2 occasions at the moment. He has a promising coat possibly being able to be shown in breed classes. He is a big pig , already bigger than Black-Jack. Update ~ Ted won best Adult owned Pet at Birmingham 29/5/11. So proud :)

Chalky  (Rex)                                                      Stanley (Rex)

Chalky is initially responsible for the majority of my rex in the shed. He is dad to Stanley who he shares a hutch with and also dad to Star. He is grandad to Buster and great grandad to Minnie, Mabel and Ted. He won 3rd best Adult Pet last year but is now retired from showing. He's a very tolerant pig who is pretty easy going.  Stanley has been shown several times but after biting a steward, he also is retired and happy to munch his way through life with his "old man".

Spike (Cross breed peruvian x Coronet)                  Conker (Self Cream x Teddy)

Spike was desperate for a hutch mate and after an unsuccessful pairing with Mr Bumble, who I suspect took a chunk out of his foot, he took to Conker like a duck does to water :). Although Conker is actually in charge in their hutch!!Conker is very laid back, which I think must be the Teddy in him and has a calming effect on Spike who is a bit of a live-wire.

Woody (Teddy)                                                    Mr Bumble (Swiss)

Woody has always been a big lad . He has been shown several times and has been placed 1st reserve Adult owned Pet, which I was very chuffed about. He loves his grub and is a gentle giant of a lad :) He lives on his own as he does not tolerate other boars.
Mr Bumble has always been a tiny lad on the other hand!!! I suspect he was the runt of his litter, but he is a cobby little chap who lives on his own due to the event which occured with Spike. he currently lives opposite Buster with a divider down the middle and they are happy of the company :) Mr B eats a different diet to all the other pigs due to his selective feeding, but loves his carrots and cucumber particularly :) He has been shown and obtained a 1st in his category.

Ripple, Bailey and Bourbon (Teddies)

3 beautiful boars from Autumn and Woody. Brothers to Mimi. All very different. Hopefully they will be stars of the shows.
Ripple (lemon agouti) Bailey (Golden agouti roan) Bourbon (self chocolate)

Ripple is the noisiest and currently lost a lot of his baby fur. Bailey is the greediest and usually 1st out to the grub when it is delivered and Bourbon has a lovely type very broad very gentle and I think he will be the star of many a show :)
